(PRFU) proudly announces a continued partnership with Pillar Sports, an Australian and Hong Kong, China owned company founded in 2014, with its headquarters in Hong Kong, China. This partnership also marks the continuation of an exciting journey with the Philippine Volcanoes National Rugby Team. Pillar Sports emerged from the belief that the sporting community deserved better than overpriced, low-quality sports tape, custom apparel, and equipment. With a mission to provide reliable, high-quality products and streamline the buying process, Pillar Sports is set to transform the sporting experience for athletes. Pillar Sports is now the exclusive strapping tape provider for the Philippine Volcanoes National Rugby Team during the 2023/2024 International Rugby Season. This partnership ensures that the team has access to top-quality strapping tape for enhanced performance and player safety. Pillar Sports will supply 60 athletes with strapping tape for team requirements for the 2023 Asia Sevens Series and the 2024 international tournaments. The Philippine Volcanoes will compete at the Asia Rugby Sevens Series Leg 2 in Bangkok, Thailand on October 14 to 15, 2023. The teams completed an 8-day training camp at the New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac. The men’s team is in Pool A with Japan, UAE, and China. The women’s team is in Pool B with China, Thailand, and Singapore. Matches will be played in the Royal Thai Police Stadium and will be streamed live on the Asia Rugby Facebook page.
