PHILIPPINE RUGBY UNVEILS JERSEYS FOR MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TEAMS COMPETING IN ASIA RUGBY SEVENS SERIES LEG 1

Pasig City, August 24, 2023 - The Philippine Rugby Football Union Inc (PRFU) proudly announced the 12 men's and 12 women's players for the Philippine Volcanoes teams, who will compete in the highly anticipated Asia Rugby Sevens Series leg 1, scheduled to take place in Incheon, Korea on August 26 and 27, 2023. The momentous jersey presentation ceremony was held at the KMC Jollibee Tower in Ortigas City, which is also the home of the PRFU office.

PRFU's GOLD sponsor, KMC, took center stage during the event, presenting the sleek and vibrant jerseys that the Philippine Volcanoes teams will don as they battle against formidable opponents in the Asia Rugby Sevens Series. The jerseys, a blend of modern design and national pride, symbolize the dedication and spirit of the athletes as they represent the Philippines on an international stage.

The event was graced was also graced by the representatives from Fitness First and Pitch'd, key partners of PRFU, reaffirming their commitment to the sport and the teams.

The Asia Rugby Sevens Series is a prestigious tournament that gathers top 8 men's and 8 women's rugby sevens teams from across the region. The Philippine Volcanoes teams have been preparing rigorously for this event at PSC's prestigious Ultra Philsports Complex, and their participation reflects the steady growth and increasing competitiveness of rugby in the Philippines.

The PRFU is committed to promoting and developing rugby at all levels in the Philippines and is excited to see the continued progress of its teams on the international stage.
