(PRFU) is pleased to announce that the Philippine Volcanoes Men's National 7s Team is in full preparation mode for the 19th Asian Games, scheduled to take place in Hangzhou, China, from September 24 to 26, 2023. The team will be competing in pool A against strong rivals Hong Kong, China, and Malaysia, and they are determined to make their mark on the international rugby scene. The men's team has gathered at the state-of-the-art New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac, for an intensive training camp that will run from September 13 to 20, 2023. Under the guidance of Coach Darryl Suasua, the team is honing their skills, perfecting their strategies, and strengthening their bonds as they prepare for the highly anticipated tournament. The Philippine Volcanoes Men's National 7s Team has a rich history of representing the nation with pride and determination on the rugby field. The last time the Philippines competed in the Asian Games was in Incheon, South Korea, in 2014, where they showcased their resilience and talent by finishing in 5th place.
