PRFU are looking for interns

Internships at the Philippine Rugby Football Union are open to all undergraduate students and young professionals with a demonstrated interest in Social Media Marketing, Accounting and Bookkeeping. Interns will be given the opportunity to realize their potential and contribute to a dynamic organization. Likewise, we encourage our interns to participate in various activities of the union, dependent on their knowledge, interest and availability.

The minimum requirement for internship is 200 hours. As a non-profit organization, we do not offer compensation to our interns.

Marketing Intern
Interns under this category will assist the Head of National Teams and Marketing in developing and executing marketing and communication plans.

Responsibilities:
Support the development and execution of the marketing and communications plan and cultivate key media relationships Support in event planning, logistics and coordination of the PRFU. Draft press releases and articles on stories and hot topics relevant to PRFU. Build and manage editorial calendars assets including the website and social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) Coordinate with advertising agencies in implementing strategies to increase brand awareness and equity.

Qualifications:
- Strong command of the English language
- Skilled in writing/storytelling, proof reading and verbal communications
- Knowledgeable in digital marketing and social media 
- Good project management skills and multitasking ability
- Experience in event planning & organization
- Graphic design skills in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

Accounting Intern
Interns under this category will assist the Head of Administration in bookkeeping and financial activities of the union.

Responsibilities:
-  Help with accounts receivable, payable and bank statement reconciliation
- Assist in Head of Administration in paying suppliers invoices in a timely manner
- Help with issuing invoices to sponsors and clients Assist in maintaining orderly accounting filing system

Qualifications:
Has Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting educational background Has strong sense of attention to detail Excellent communication skills
